Travel to Freycinet
Travel to Freycinet on the states east coast is best known for its sandy white beaches, rugged outcrops and sparkling blue waters. The park on the tip of the peninsula is a long narrow neck of land dominated by the granite peaks of the Hazards Mountain Range. The area is cross- crossed with walking tracks along beaches, over mountains, around headlands and across lagoons. Freycinet is home to prolific wildlife and the perfect half- moon of Wine Glass Bay with its pink granite mountains rising straight from the sea and magnificent sheltered waterway often listed as one of the top ten beaches in the world. Further north are the brilliant beaches of the Bay of Fires in the Mt William National Park.
